Yes, I said blob. It was original a typo, but then I thought it really is a blob. It’s a blob because it’s a creature from my mind. And it’s initially an unformed creature–a blob if you will. As I type I’m creating this blob. What is it I really want to say. I’m not sure. And I’m not sure because i don’t know you. This whole online reality is challenging for some of us–especially since we are human beings communicating with other human beings It’s important what we say and how we say it. But the main thing is figuring out what you want to say. What do you have to say that could benefit others? What do you have to say that others would really care about?
The first problem that comes up for me and the same problem may come up for you is that I don’t feel like I have some expertise that others can benefit from. Of course, that’s not true. But that’s what it feels like. I’m just another person. My life is not extraordinary. But that would be a lie because each one of our lives is extraordinary. Each one of us has unique experiences we’ve lived through that can enrich another person’s life. Each one of us has something to share.
We just have to believe there are people out there who want our gifts. But once we find one and then two and then three, I am sure writing these blobs will get easier. Because then we’re really communicating. I mean then there is a back and forth. We’re not just spewing stuff out there. But nothing is wrong with spewing as long as it doesn’t add any more suffering into the world. There’s already too much of that.
